My review refers to the following version: Ultra Fit Capsule - Metal Slate
Reason for buying:
I've bought a Galaxy S5 in November 2014. In order to comprehensively protect my cell phone from scratches, bumps, etc., I was looking for a sleek and durable Handyhülle that my phone can not be at the same time grow to twice its original size. Ultra Fit Capsule - - Since the SPIGEN CASE is my Metal Slate caught your eye.
Look and feel and fit:
SPIGEN CASE - Ultra Fit Capsule - Metal Slate consists of a rigid material that is not as wobbly as typical silicone cases, at the same time but not as stiff as hard plastic cases. The case is totally flexible despite its firmer shape and returns to its original shape. Thus, the envelope can easily install to the phone, without having to sit here too loose or too tight. Also easy it can be removed again without damaging the phone. Unlike most other offered here SPIGEN phone accessories, is the Metal Slate design on the sides, where the Anschalter- and the volume buttons are closed. The buttons of the mobile phone are therefore not visible on the sides, but the buttons can be operated easily and without restrictions. The connections at the top and bottom of the phone (ie charging port, headphone jack, etc.) are in the envelope ausgesparrt, ie they are exposed. This can happen that settles etc. Dust and dirt on these recesses when carrying it in trouser pockets. I personally do not think it's too bad, because the envelope agreed without any problems and can then be cleaned. The Phone Case has a smooth surface on which settles dirt (as is the case with soft silicone sleeves). However, the Handyhülle feels thereby also not very good grip - dropped but it is not me. I also think that after prolonged in the hand holding the sides of the shell press into the skin, as they are quite edgy. Not that you would cut it, but yet so edgy that you can feel it and can feel as unanenehm.
Conclusion:
For me, a stylish, high-quality mobile phone cover that can also convince protective film in many ways, despite their extremely low price and free. Positive is their relative rigidity with flexibility, thus the resultant all-round protection (including the camera lens), its cool look, the easily accessible connections and operation of the power and volume buttons. In addition, the shell does not discolor (I use it now 4 1/2 months). There are departures, however at the edges, but the press felt in the skin after a short while, if you use the phone with one hand. When operating with two hands I feel the edges are not as disturbing. Therefore 4 of 5 stars.
