Connections
Both a 24-pin EATXPWR, as well as an 8-pin ATX12V to be connected for operation. The motherboard itself has, in my opinion, very many useful connections. For example, over 4 SATA 6Gb / s ports (or 6 SATA 6Gb / s ports, since the SATA Express connector is compatible with 2 normal SATA connectors).
On the board are also up to 4 DDR3 memory components. The motherboard has this dual DDR3 1600 support. That is, the DDR3 memory components can be operated with 1600MHz. However, two DDR3 memory components must be identical. Best when buying a memory / Dual Kit.
Processor (-fan)
On the motherboard match processors with Intel 1150 socket. Also, the processor fan should be matched to the processor socket, otherwise some capacitors could be on the motherboard in your way. I personally have an Arctic Freezer 13 CO processor cooler 92 mm for AMD and Intel (up to 200W cooling capacity, multi compatible with MX-4 thermal compound voraufgetragener) installed, which fits very well to the board.
RAID Controller
Another advantage of the motherboard is the integrated RAID controller. I even use it as a RAID1 Controller, and is still working properly. When installing the operating system, I had not even load an additional driver. Otherwise, a CD is included (among others with RAID driver) included.
