Subjectively, a good TV with only minor weaknesses

As my contribution but was a little longer than I thought, I'm starting a nutshell with the conclusion. Who wants to go into more detail can then simply read on below. ;-)

So, my conclusion or what was important to me:

+/- Full HD with a clear image even with SD (possibly create here TVs with more than 100 Hz remedy ?!)

Out of the box the first impression
The design I have "valent" presented. In older models, the Samsung bar is illuminated below the screen, in this model, however, there is a plastic strip with Samsung lettering relatively unloving "tuned stuck" appears.

The Status LED
Even the standby lamp bottom right looks very unhübsch out to my mind. Previously, the small and round. This model is relatively large and square.
Everything is a matter of taste ... I do not like it, however.

The housing and the terminals
The unit is compared to my old Samsung (UE46C6200) significantly thicker. The back is arched and the plugs are fitted with a sideways, as well (such as the power plug) to extend straight backwards. That is, with a wall mounting to get the device not quite so close to the wall. However, Samsung has settled an angled power plug, which the great deep well to balance out. The power cord itself is quite short, what should be noted when wall mounting and clean laying of the cable in cable ducts, for example. In order here to avoid the bulky extension connector (does not fit in the cable channel of possibly) it is advisable to purchase a separate longer angled Euro power cable with Euro plug.
Otherwise, the unit has all important in my view ports on board, which makes sense also not behind a possible VESA200 mount "hidden".

The delivery also has an IR transmitter. With this additional equipment to be operated by remote control via TV inculcation. This feature I have not yet tested. For remote control per se: It is a standard remote control supplied, an additional SmartTouch FB is only from the 6 Series.
The mirroring of the display is available, but according to my deeming entirely in the green zone and acceptable. Compared to my old UE46C6200 the display mirroring is dull indeed, but similarly strong.
According to product data sheet of the TV should have a swivel stand. I had the TV set up only briefly (he now hangs on the wall), but think that the foot was not rotate
Another note to the headphone jack: the plug is plugged into the back of the unit, the sound is also only through the headphones available. Ie during normal TV enjoyment on the front speakers of headphones must be unplugged. So if you want to change here often must always back to the unit off, which is troublesome in a wall mounting, difficult or impossible.

Transmitter Installation
What my predecessor (UE46C6200) was a laborious task, is finally solved by reasonable Samsung: When the scan you can see the sender places can now easily select and move. Oh, if you do that mostly only during the initial installation, I had here then my old TV favorite thrown right out the window. The channel sorting must be repeated especially in frequency changes or if newly added stations. As I said this, kudos to Samsung! Previously additional programs were via PC almost duty today it's finally no (ok that, other manufacturers for twenty and more years ... ;-)
Only the favorites list still does not open up to me. Channels including No. be completely taken over from the channel list.. So if you have not re-sort the channel list for a channel scan, also in favorites the first then no. 49 and the ZDF under no. 536 ...

Image Quality / Settings
There are a number of settings where you can and should try experimenting until it corresponds to the personal taste. Basically, I have all image enhancements disabled (who uses the ECO sensor and delights in constantly changing picture brightness, remains a mystery to me, go to: Menu -> System -> eco-solution). Burosch images are quite helpful for the setting. My TV has now the following parameters:

In principle, I am therefore satisfied with the picture quality. The HD picture is good, the SD image lags in my opinion compared to my old Samsung behind somewhat, but is ok. I have not tested or until no stations are stored analog (to speak of "picture quality" is ruled out in my opinion anyway ...).
Unfortunately, I have, as it did in the old Samsung, frequently with ARD HD a grainy image when graphics are displayed as the ZDF sport studio. May be due to the partial old movies and series that run often and there were at that time just not produced in HD. But this grain does not occur with the tuner of the skybox, then I type it on the settings and the tuner of the Samsung. If anyone here still has a tip for me: help is welcome!
Another tip for 16: 9 setting: If 4: 3 broadcasts are transmitted, obtained with the basic settings an exploded diagram. To always automatically display the correct format (4: 3 ie with black bars left and right) I have chosen the following setting:
Menu -> Image -> Image Size:
Picture Size: Auto Wide.

And one more little thing that is negative I noticed in daily operation: The brightness of the screen displays can indeed menu adjust (Menu -> System -> Accessibility -> Menu Transparency, but even if small, the film information can right zap the difficulties read if the background the TV screen light shines through (white text on a light background).

Library
The Samsung really does basically everything from what I connect via USB (limitation see below). In addition, one must no longer decide at the start of the library, whether you want to play back photos, music or videos, but can switch back and forth without having to leave every time the menu and the library newly re also select "All" and thus easily start (who has saved photos and holiday movies in chronological order in a folder, can now better showcase). Even the loading of images is now rapidly so that a slide quite fun. Integrated subtitles in MKV files as well as multiple languages ​​are now recognized.
Unfortunately, there is also a deterioration: Not all my MP4 files to be played! Some yes, others no, and you get the nice Note: The selected file is not supported. The difference between files accepted and refused so far I could not figure out. (Same File Source & Media Info gives me here, unfortunately, no further insight). This is irritating, especially since my old Samsung is playing the same files without grumbling all.

WLAN / LAN / streaming
The integration into the home network works without problems and the Win7 machine is detected. The Samsung accesses the shared data and can thus also play back movies, pictures or music. What does not work is streaming mkv files. Has probably something to do with copyright ... In addition, not all existing files. Why is that (Win7 Settings / approvals?) So far I could not figure out.
When streaming any subtitles or multiple languages ​​are supported. For this you can, in contrast to earlier more than just play and stop choose. Thus, it is a movie not so annoying when you want to take a break in between, then reached again only with difficulty with Schnellvorspulen the desired location.
When setting up your wireless network, it is then also happened to me, the abschmiert the WLAN menu to a false input the password again, attempt in the middle of the input. Apparently there is a bug here. Only when you completely leave after a wrong entry the menu itself does access when re-entering the WLAN. But since you only once (or absolutely rare) makes, can get over this bug.

HbbTV
After I had found in some forums in this TV no indication of HbbTV, and mine were not clear differences between the almost infinite number of models at Samsung, I had a fear that has been dispensed with 5570er possibly on HbbTV. However, this is not the case! He HbbTV and that's a good thing !! I do not want to miss this feature. The additional information that provide the TV stations provide real added value.
As for me, however, still rankles: Immediately after switching to a station you get the "Red button Note". If you press during this display the red button to get to the HbbTV. If the display but gone, it is no longer possible to enter the HbbTV me mostly with the red button. So I turn first to another channel and then back to the display comes back and then quickly the Red button ... Sometimes the screen will display as well as not at all, although the sender definitely support HbbTV. A gambling ...

Football Fashion
I found this nice advertised, but I've used it once. The sound and picture adjustments can be changed by Samsung in football mode and I still can not get used to quite these settings. The inclusion of goals and exciting game scenes works more or less. A (the highest possible) connected and formatted by Samsung USB stick is required. In my opinion, the football mode is a nice Gimick, which I'll probably still use but rarely in everyday use.

USB Recording
To this end, I have not tested too much, however, are already given here in some reviews helpful tips to be used USB sticks. For me, all were detected so far in any case.
Basics: A plugged-Stick is formatted, if you want to record on him. That he should be empty, otherwise existing data is lost. After formatting, you can read the recordings on the stick to any other device, not even under Windows! Thus, the photographs remain exclusive to the Samsung device. Disadvantage: If the TV is defective and needs to be replaced, are the recordings will be lost.
Can be included only the transmitter, which is also seen (who want to see a channel while recording another, a device with twin tuner needs). Recording can only be TV broadcasts. Movie releases from media libraries can not be recorded. Timeshift works, but you should here (> 8GB) invest in my opinion in a big stick, as this is usually quite fast at full HD.

Screen Mirroring
This function was previously called Samsung AllShare Cast as. Confusion, there are now two different names for one and the same function. With Screen Mirroring you only have the opportunity to bring the screen contents from a mobile device to the TV. The reverse, ie TV content on the laptop or tablet is not so! For this you need the so-called SmartView 2.0 app.
Whether it all works so I can not test, because it this is a really big hook that became clear to me after buying and downstream Forums Search:
Screen Mirroring works only and exclusively with Samsung devices and from Android version 4.2 and higher. Likewise, the SmartView reaches 2.0 app only on Galaxy S devices from version S4. (The app SmartView 1.0 by the way compatible only with Samsung TVs to Series F. For the reviewed here TV H-series is required mandatory SmartView 2.0).
So who here is not brand loyal customer and the latest Samsung devices has looked into the tube.

SMART TV
Via Smart TV can be viewed provided by Samsung various Apps. However, this is true that the scope / number of apps made available compared minimalistic fails with Android or Apple. Who this selection is expected disappointed. The apps are specially adapted for the TV and therefore have a different service and a different look with possibly even differing contents. A real sort of apps I have not yet succeeded. Nice contrast of the Internet browser has become. Surfing se via TV and a standard FB is basically performed not very comfortable. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor, I find from Samsung managed and implemented I did not know such. The link detection on the website does this very well. Surf short I might now but quite often times use the TV. But probably only if tablet, or PC are not straight Notbook tangible
In addition to max cathedrals, Videoload, Amazon Instant Video and YouTube provides Samsung also skype. For this you have to buy an extra camera, however, as this is not included.
