The disadvantage: on the original remote control you have to hold the key pressed for relatively (the red LED on the Seki Slim has 2 times slowly and then fast flashing) until the Seki Slim has "understood" the code.
I want to trigger a camera. The available for IR remotes are tiny and have a button cell. In cold weather, a problem and a cable shutter button is a poor alternative. A FB with two microcells (AAA) should work better because of höhreren capacity of the batteries / batteries. Only can the Seki the code for my Nikon incorrect - I thought. No problems during programming of other equipment (satellite receiver), but the IR code for the camera it would not work at first. The problem was probably the button cell. Now my camera responds to the Seki Slim.
