About the technology:
- 2-way system as a Helmholtz resonator (bass reflex). The reflex port is found on the back, at the height of the tweeter, which heneinragt about 80% in the box.
- The amplifier, including power supply are housed in the right box. Volume and tone controls, and an extra input and headphone jack are located on the front of this box.
- A (correct) network switch and a permanently mounted power cord can be found on the back of the right box.
- Four small rubber feet give each box not slip (if the bass banging really sleep, the boxes do not flit certainly over the desk :)).
I should mention, however, the brutal bright power LED. Those who are not engaged in the speakers in the bedroom, will not be bothered by the small blue light (a small strip of black electrical tape but creates fast and cheap remedy).
CONCLUSION:
One can safely argue for hours about the tonal qualities of a box, because the feeling is different for each. But noteworthy is the successful optics and processing. Here the manufacturer has eigesetzt techniques that you eigentich found only in the large "right" boxes, such as the use of wood, or the acoustic decoupling of the housing with rubber feet. Well, in this price range does this a little ridiculous, but shows the goodwill and know-how of the manufacturer. It's like with cars: If I can not afford a Jaguar, a small picturesque Hyundai will bring me to work - in this sense: buy recommendation!
