I've been using these remote release on the Sony Alpha 57, and he carries out his work perfectly! Here are all positive and negative aspects: Positives: - Very easy setup, as only 3 parts (transmitter, cable, receiver) - Good workmanship, despite largely of plastic - Good coverage although not advertised by the manufacturer Reaches 100 meters, but is nevertheless sufficient for all situations - A small, somewhat exotic-looking 3 Volt battery included, which unfortunately is still not self-evident - Can also be used as a cable release (then the on the receiver used placed shutter button - Self-timer directly at the transmitter switched on
Negatives:
- Because the cable is plugged into the front receiver, unfortunately can not be folded out of the flash of the camera, because the cable blocking the flash. Would be to insert the cable to the rear or to the side, it would still be possible. This is now, however whine at very high level, a real minus point is not that. Therefore, I can recommend the remote release each!
