After a long search, and back and forth thinking, I came onto the Dakota 20 and has not been disappointed.
Am very satisfied. With Eneloops I can navigate the bike a good 10 hours without changing batteries at 100% display brightness and without standby. Announcements when to turn I wanted to anyway because I find the ride uncomfortable moment during headphones.
For geocaching is all times sufficient even if the installed Geocaching app is somewhat awkward which is mainly due to the poor German translation.
Pro:
- Small
- Light
- Handy
Available for motorcycle and Geocaching -
- Battery life
- Good reception even in the forest
- Various profiles +
- Display to operate even when wearing gloves
Contraindications:
- Can only be used 50 waypoints for a route. But are tools that longer routes down count. Where I get along with 50 to 99% if not just 2 routes made of it.
- Touch something hackelig. I'm probably too spoiled by the smartphone.
