The assembly is fiddly and I needed until the lens cover was sitting halfway firm and the shell could be mounted over it. Both parts do not fit exactly, which means that with me looking out from the smartphone coating of silver upper edge of the K zoom and the lens cover repeatedly times detached from the edges of the lens and must be firmly pressed. The slots are quite far apart, leaving only given a small scratch protection and the dust completely missing - the glass must be cleaned frequently, because it accumulates dust exactly in the form of slots. The first six months of permanent use - solely in the envelope and with clamped lens cover - have protective sheath and Smartphone survived.
