I ordered it to replace my 3G ipod 32gb that was too small and it is great as the last. The retina display is beautiful, the proposed colors are nice, I love the fact that the music library is managed by iTunes because it allows to put the album covers etc. The camera is not too bad I think it helps troubleshoot, and the supplied headphones are much better than those supplied with previous generations. If you have an ipod touch 3rd generation to the first is that you hesitate to change it go ahead change worth the cost! The only negatives I found was the lack of dock adapter as new lightning connectors are not supported by the stations that can have at home (if not in terms of car radios by putting the usb cable it works I tested). The brightness of the display must be set by hand as there is more brightness sensor unlike other generation (device size worries I think).
