First of all: The software (GUI) and the app have now revised and I can not refute the vote in some read criticism of it.
The device is easy. Man is guided step by step through the TV screen by setting including connecting all devices, boxes and calibration. The calibration with the supplied microphone is much more accurate than the Pioneer. While there is only measured at one point, here 6 positions are queried, resulting in better sound. I am absolutely satisfied with picture and Tonergebnis.
Particularly impressive I find the different virtual modes, such as virtual rock arena or Virtual Jazz Club. Here you really have the feeling of being at a live concert here. The GUI can I find understandable and easy to use. With AirPlay you even get cover photos and all relevaten information on the TV screen.
The search for Internet radio streams is also well done.
But absolutely amazing is the Remote app for iPhone. The controller works perfectly and much better than using the remote control. Also the TV screen is therefore no longer necessary for Internet radio, media server, etc., as everything is super simple and understandable on the app. The various sound modes can be there quickly change.
AirPlay works so already great, but on the app even better. You can select the music from iPhone and serve directly from the app. The app even the cover image will then be displayed.
Devices are in use:
Philips TV 42PF9831D / 10 (connected via HDMI)
Huma iCord HDD satellite receiver (connected via HDMI)
2nd generation AppleTV (connected via HDMI)
older Pioneer DVD player (connection sound through optical cable image directly on AVR cable TV, but would also go over video cable from the receiver. Then even the image is projected. Since I abre shortly a Bluray've Player, I no longer wanted an extra Kbel buy :-))
Canton boxes set
Control of the system via Logitech Harmony + Denon Remote App for iPhone
