I bought this clip light due to the many positive reviews on my Sony Reader and can recommend it without reservation. I did not want to an e-book with integrated lighting, because I felt the activated backlight as unpleasant. With this lamp the entire eBook is perfectly lit up and it appears nothing. Since the lamp has a large light radius, I have now been deployed at my laptop as a keyboard light, also went. The clamp member is slightly padded, so that nothing and scratched in a small AAA battery is integrated (included). Unconditional purchase recommendation!
