The lamp has the optimal properties for most activities. Not too big or too heavy but not too small but it is comfortable to hold. Luminosity is great and important was my dimming. 225 lumens to the tent a book is easy to read a lot but you have the option 225 lumens to benefit if you are a Night with the dog.
