I have this cable for a customer needs because he wanted to have a WLAN access point (PoE operated) externally mounted on the wall but did not drill a hole through the wall. So I needed a ribbon cable, which is 1Gbit supports and flat. I have to admit I was skeptical at first whether this cable actually supports PoE. But my fears were quickly disproved. The product is fully PoE capable and supplies complete 1Gbit performance. Sure, this is a so-called cable. UTP cable (unshielded), but how do you also a ribbon cable shield ?!
