Super camera!

After nearly a year endurance test I am now following opinion: The Sony HX50 is a very compact highly functional camera.
It took a while until I found out what you can do against the watercolor effect, but if you think about it, it's just logical: take the noise reduction feature out, (programs P / S / A / M). It just happens that several images are superimposed and added together with a Gaussian filter. It is as if a veil is drawn from the images. Without Painterly still remain small artifacts caused by image compression (.jpg codec).

The zoom is great, only the non-existent RAW file output is missing something.
But I do not expect more from a small digital camera, because for quality pictures it takes then just a camera and lenses that allow more light to the image plane.

The videos are excellent in picture and sound quality. (Image stabilizer unique)

As an accessory, I can recommend the following: The Ladegerätset from Sony with a rechargeable battery. A screen protector. A small pocket: the "Cullmann Ultralight". An expensive SD card from SanDisk. Any cheap spare SD card.
