The service is also super easy. In the Philips hue App can control all the lights individually or they are added into groups so that a group always has the same color. This makes especially for light bulbs sense when you for example, several light bulbs used for a lampshade. But I have used this feature, for example, for my living room because I wanted that in the living room one and the same color lights. You have a choice between 16 million color shades, which is an extremely wide range, as I would argue. You can either adjust the color itself or use a pre-defined scene. In addition, you can use your own image from your phone and choose from a desired color in which you move your finger over the image while holding the respective number for the appropriate lamp.
Further Functions:
Super great is the IFTTT function. The If This Than That function controls the light where it the IFTTT App downloaded and indicating that we want to eg weather changes have a different color or would like to have a different color when a SMS, email or Facebook message receives. In addition, you can with this app can be at a certain time to wake with light or or or. The app has many more great features that are really great. Unfortunately me something pretty annoyed. If I set a beautiful color, the scene was saved and turn off the light switch and anmache again, then the beautiful color is no longer seen, and I have to laboriously set via the iPad or iPhone my desired color. I would wish for the future that the colors also still exist, if I make the light switch off and on again. It's really tiring if you have to repeatedly readjust the color. I, however, in a lamp a Philips Hue and have a normal lamp, since no two Philips hue lamps would have fit in the ceiling light, I have to press the light switch, unfortunately, when I try to switch off the normal light bulb. To this end, I would wish remedy in the future.
Conclusion:
Although the bulbs and lamps are not cheap and when you turn off the light switch the color no longer is the one that had been set before, I'm very excited and wants to have to miss under any circumstances.
