So naturally I was very excited about the new Huawei Ascend P6.
The current advertising and the performance can still hope for some.
When I then get the unit I was very pleasantly surprised; even the packaging indicates that Huawei here has a superclass claim.
The smartphone enthusiastic at first glance, the design is very classy and also convinced the quality impression.
Definitely one of the best smartphones I've seen so far (I personally use the Sony Xperia Z).
I want to go with my review not again on the whole features.
One of my primary interests is the power of the device.
In addition, I had the opportunity to compare the past months some current smartphones directly in my hands and did.
Here I use the AnTuTu Benchmark app for all my devices (smartphones / tablets) and the same starting position.
After I had the P6 fully equipped, of course, the benchmark was due the same.
Here I was a little surprised; the Huawei Ascend P6 shows worse results than the Huawei Ascend G 615!
In Detail:
Huawei Ascend P6: approx 13,200 points
Huawei Ascend G615: approx 14,900 points
For Comparison:
Sony Xperia Z: approximately 20,100 points
LG Optimus G: 19,000 points
Huawei Ascend Y300: 6,300 points.
Of course, that's still a very good value for a powerful smartphone but due to the equipment I would have expected at least a better result than the G615.
In practice it has been subjectively feel that the G615 has a little ahead (speed).
Still worth mentioning I think the really good picture quality of the built-in camera.
This was / is already a major strength of the G615.
Here, the P6 is definitely second to none.
Comparing the image quality, there is no real winner, both devices intersect here very well.
Even otherwise, the P6 does not provide any real weaknesses.
Conclusion:
On the whole, I am very convinced of the Huawei Ascend P6.
In all areas a really good smartphone.
In a direct price / performance ratio compared to its smaller brother, the Ascend G615, but it cuts definitely underperformed.
There could fully in Design points and is thus safe to appeal to a different audience.
Here, everyone has to decide according to his claims / taste.
