Bought I have my heart rate monitor for pulse and current speed. Everything else (fitness test, lap time, Zeitzoinen, frills) need, I do not use. I count hereinafter simply all the features and what has bothered me / it pleased.
1) pulse: The WearLink works well. When the measurement sensors is easily moistened before running immediately perfect. A belt I have destroyed, because I have not washed it after running the same always'. Then salt and stuff the rate of sedimentation of the sensors and eventually nothing more is with the exact measurement. For over a year I'm good with the wash and even after about 2000 kms from all works great.
2.) Step Sensor: I have the step sensor variant and had at the beginning of coarse problems was because the permanent connection or demolition not recognized. It was only when I gave the sensor on the same side (both left) 'went perfectly. Did not think that is a problem, but is easy to solve. The battery problems which some have (had) I can not understand. I use an Eneloop there that securely holds the 400km. No more longer, if you forget nciht after running off. In front of a half-marathon, I invite you to stop so that is not in between from.
3.) The clock. Plays virtually all pieces and can for me anyway too much. Only what is really bad (and 2 star deducting costs), which is this plastic strap. I use the clock permanently, not even when perquisites. I see no point ever having to change. Only on the band seems to be not designed. Since I bought the clock ', I had to replace the belt twice already. And that within 2 years. Beautiful is that Polar is extremely accommodating and I only once had to pay for it. Now, however, the retaining tab is broken again. Next, (I guess in 1-2 months), the tape itself is off. It breaks always there where the pin is in the bond. And since you can not be replaced by a metal band easy for the whole clock unusable.
This raises for me the question: Do I want a clock and an extra heart rate monitor or a heart rate monitor, which can all eh, but I have to about every 9-12 months to replace the belt (costs about 20 euros, because Polar so nice is).
Pretty stupid, but, alas, I just exchange the tape until I set the clock eventually swim completely lose ...
Just more than 3 stars no gibs it.
