I must say I am quite slim built and slender, and about 1,59m tall.
For my back the SlimPack is perfect, because it "hangs" at precisely the locations which distribute the weight perfectly.
Other pluses:
- The material is high quality
- He's just sewn so that it does not fall into the eye and
- Can only open from the inside, (which in my experience is a huge plus when traveling is)
for no one can from the outside to the Wersachen zoom - only if one takes off one or both straps.
- Inside there is still an extra laptop bag
- And a separate bag with the entire "photo-guts", so you can use the backpack when needed also for everything else!
- Many pillows and deferrals with Velcro, so many possible combinations.
Minus points:
- Due to the narrow shape of the backpack is down bit tight (although I do not like to lie down valuables at the bottom, let alone the camera or lenses!)
- It's not the backpack for the "Quick Links" on the camera. Vanguard or Cullmann offer more lateral extra openings for quick removal.
Since I am a so gemächtliche photographer rather bothers me no further.
- No pockets for memory cards, batteries, etc. Only one main compartment + laptop compartment (goes well: D) Anyway, it's a backpack for day tours, not for the hiking holiday!
In summary, I really recommend the backpack warmly. For a price of around 40 euros one gets here a very good photo backpack !!
Oh yes: I'm wearing a Nikon D600 + 2 lenses and usually a few little things with.
