The Krups Sandwich Maker is a great device. When toasting the slices of toast are divided into triangles. The edges of the sandwiches are tightly closed so that no cheese is running out. The toasts are crispy and tasty and found in all members of the family very popular. The device is easy to clean and makes a solid impression. A weakness has the unit: The closure is not stable enough. After 8 months, one of the plastic nipple with which the tip seal is mounted in the device stopped. I regret to exchange the unit now. Evidently the closure is not stable enough designed, as reported in other reviews of this problem.
Update 05/08/2010: I have the defective Sandwich Maker can easily replace it with a new on Amazon. The closure of the new sandwich maker has now held for one year ..... hopefully bleibts it. Overall, we are very pleased with the results of toast sandwich maker. Therefore, we have each bought for our kids a sandwich maker as a birthday present to ensure the culinary supply in the Student Flatshare :) I hope that no further defects in the closures occur. Just in case, however, helps the excellent service Amazon!
