The box looks very valuable and feels like that. Brushed metal with the RaidSonic lettering on top in silver.
Commissioning
The hardware-side device is easy. Antenna screwed and plugged the necessary cables to the system and the electrical outlet, only lasted a few seconds. Instant light up the Power lamp and the box goes into operation. Here you can again see the rear view with its connections:

Let's talk about software. The box is made immediately Complimentary wireless signal, with which you can connect via mobile phone, laptop or other things. First you should change the default settings of the box, otherwise accessible to any person on the unit. Name of the Box and security of the WLAN adapter can be adjusted there directly. WPA2 support is available, what's now the standard. Once you have done this, the box has a 3 possibilities. The first is the device directly to use and to connect via wifi with her. The second option is to link the box with the internal WLAN in the house. So you could access from any device on the network to the box and stream music in the selected room. The third possibility is independent of the first two. You could insert a USB stick with music to the pits. So you could access with two possibilities on the box and play the music on the stick directly. This works very well and right away without any problems.
I have now placed the device in my network. For this purpose I have gone only to the Internet settings and have selected my wifi network, enter the password, and the box is on the internal network. Note that the IP address (10.1.1.1) changes once you have the unit in your network. Just look in your router or DHCP server. To make sure that does not change the address for a new start, you should the box a static IP in your router awarded.
To use the box needed to support a player that DLNA. The Windows Media Player does so, I have but so far never been used and was as recommended in the Summary of MediaMonkey, I have summarily downloaded and installed it. The box has been recognized directly and I could by clicking the music that I had in the library can be played on the device. This worked even regardless of the music in the living room that was directly over my system.
For Android I have implemented the whole thing with the MX Player. This was also quickly and easily by hand, like everything in this player.
Conclusion:
Finally I can say. The unit is a very good choice if you want to feed a remote room with music from his own PC and there already has an attachment. In my case it was the kitchen, where I tested this device and use. Problems connecting not even occurred and the quality is very good (this is of course a subjective opinion. In addition, several factors still hanging by the sound quality from. So shall ensure a good investment and a stable connection). The nice thing is that you can play in the second room and other music at the same time. For example, family members would not be bothered by the same music, but can easily be streaming their own music on the PC. All in all I am satisfied with the device and it can unreservedly recommend. The decor is perhaps a little tricky for newcomers at first but you do not need long to understand everything.
