As always I have out of the box first tries it happening, the operation via 3 keys (was an important purchasing criterion) reveals itself mostly immediately. For a few settings I had once seen in the Quick Start Guide, then you understand the principle. Compared with the 1-button operation with many beginners TC eternal press and hold the antics going here much faster and more intuitive vonstatten.
Visually, the Giotto is absolutely first class and is not as clunky as many of its competitors, which surely it is that it is not very thick for a TC, despite the really large displays.
Compared to my old Oceanic Veo I had attending to the more modern and more flexible computing model made quickly noticeable in longer no-decompression times especially during dives with fluctuating depth.
The large display with the big numbers can always be read extremely well underwater, all the important information are always visible.
Alarms such as in case of rapid rise are output visually and audibly without delay.
Nitrox mixture and maximum partial pressure can be entered quickly and easily. Multiple dives with different blends and several days are no problem.
I tested most of the time with EAN32 and max 40m.
A USB interface is (not cheap) sold separately I have not tested.
Air integrated the Giotto's not because I rely on my pressure gauge and also prefer a compass function I hold on the wrist for generally unfavorable, there's an extra compass which you can keep clean centered more and more precise.
The battery can be exchanged via the usual rotary latch on the back itself (not tried as yet fully).
Actually, the Giotto for the sport diver leaves no wish unfulfilled.
If interested: The bracelet from Giotto there individually in many colors and can be easily replaced.
Because of the good experiences I have now bought my partner the Giotto ...
Strong buy recommendation.
