Learning function (++)
----------------
The learning function is super. We usually use the "WAITING" function, the keyboard waits for the correct button (s) has been pressed (s). You can play for each hand practice individually or both hands simultaneously. The display shows the notes and the correct fingering display. If you do not fast enough, the pace of possibly automatically played second hand dynamically adjusts to your speed. Means that even if you even have to press a key, the playback will slow down. We do not use the "timing" function rather. This should serve to learn the rhythm. It must be pressed for every keystroke just one button. Which does not matter.
Keystroke (+)
--------------------
The dynamic keystroke works well, although it's nothing compared to a real piano. By the time you get the feeling for the right stop hardness.
Sound (o)
---------
The sound from the speakers is basically fine. At maximum volume, but these begin to scratch. It also has the point deduction. Playback through headphones is good. So nothing to complain about and it also protects the nerves so the fellows ;-)
Songs (+)
--------
The choice of songs included is large and diverse. From Ave Maria on Turkish March, Für Elise, Oh Tannenbaum to Flühlingslied (Mendelssohn) lot is. Modern items are unfortunately contain very few. Additional songs can not be loaded on the keyboard.
USB (++)
-----
The coupling to the PC via USB works fine. Whether Synthesia with the support of the learning function under Windows or QJack, Rose Garden, etc. under Linux can be used effortlessly.
Operation (++)
-------------
Operation is simple and intuitive. Our son (5) uses the keyboard effortlessly. In this context, we have learned the way, the "Portable Grand" appreciate button. By pressing a button the default settings will be restored. Helpful ;-)
