Compared to Gardena:
Filter effect: More filter sponges, much better filtering effect
Cleaning: When Gardena filters are pressed with a lever, the connections must be exchanged with difficulty.
When Berlan one turns a button which should really press out the filter via an eccentric to today. This works unfortunately de facto not. Although the swapping the connections omitted, but it runs the cleaning process, so you have to close this separately. Since the pressing need for cleaning does not work every time the filter be opened and resealed, what with the tension ring, especially in somewhat cramped conditions, is difficult and cumbersome.
Connections. The connections protrude foolishly aside out (at Gardena proceed towards the center) so you need a lot of space on the connection side to the tubes not to kink. I had installed the old filter in a really spacious house filter. The digging often shown in pictures of the filter does not work in our latitudes, unfortunately, because I every winter must dig laboriously filter. The've only once made. In the filter house I find very troublesome place for tubing.
ergo: Super Filter is cumbersome to clean
