This sleeve fits in very well in my case the 2013er MacBook Pro 15 "and the zipper is min. 0.5cm away from the housing, which is thus certainly from scratches. The cover is about 0.5-1cm thick and of very good quality. The MacBook is perfectly protected at all corners and edges. I feel comfortable with the LArobe and have a feeling my MacBook it's exactly the same. Who obviously wants to poke another notebook here should expect with space problems, since the envelope just for the MacBookPro 15 "Retina is designed in 2013, which is much flatter than older models.
