It is sufficient to connect the burner to a USB slot. The Blu-Ray invites relatively quickly and can operate well in the menu with the remote control of the program. The only thing that bothers me, and so I is also a star of the rating may depart that the program needs after the pause of the film 1, 2 seconds to the film to play on. In these 2 seconds will then artifacts and often no sound in the film, which should actually rewind a bit after the pause. It does not help to connect the burner to 2 slots or USB 3.0. My PC would also be fast enough with a Core i5-3570K, 16GB of RAM and an SSD. So I suppose that it is in the program.
I bought this torch to view films on different PCs Blu-ray can, this is much more portable than a standard Blu-ray player for me. Besides, I can burn with it, if I should need it a try. He fulfilled this function very well. Because of the problem after the pause I forgive 4 stars.
UPDATE 01/19/2014:
During the Christmas season I discovered a program with which you save his BluRay movies and DVDs to the hard drive (Rip) can. The program is called MakeMKV and is freely available. I have already used a BluRay burner Buffalo and now with my LG burner. The Buffalo this creates only a 2-fold speed with which it takes sometimes very long time to rip a movie. The LG here creates an average of 5 times speed, in some cases even slightly higher. Thus a very fast ribs is possible. Of this capacity, I am thrilled that I can now take my BluRays on external hard drive for movie nights.
If you found my review helpful, I ask you to mark that. I also like to answer questions in the comments.
