What I want to anticipate: it is great !! but unfortunately does not replace the conventional fryer grease.
But from the beginning:
Attached to the Actifry is a cookbook with recipes for special Actifry. There are very delicious things while also 100% perfectly.
Personally, I'm in the cooking container, for example CurlyFries (as of McDoof) and wrapped up a filled with spinach pork with bacon.
If you get the time, the meat really perfect! I have never seen in the oven as a juicy meat so just go.
So for the Actifry designed for recipes there are clearly 5 star !!! I would 6 be awarded if it would go.
A star deduction I have to give, however, because as mentioned above, it does not replace the conventional fryer grease.
eg croquette, hash browns, etc. can not be cooked in the cooking tray below. The fact moving "stirrer" ensures that croquettes are soggy and Co at the end to a great extent. The same is true for chicken nuggets. The movement in the cooking tray "scharbt" over time, the breading on what is then no longer so great.
One can the Nuggets in the upper roaster prepare, but they are not there unfortunately so evenly brown.
One just needs to look at what the recipes Actifry really fits. I made eg times scrambled eggs with bacon, tomatoes, potatoes etc. That was fantastic. Only the bacon and potatoes pure until they are nicely browned, then tomatoes afterwards, a few eggs to and you have not even stir;)
The same principle goes for the way Bolognese :-)
So Conclusion:
Highly Recommended, if you do not want to have to replace a conventional fryer.
I personally have the Actifry just bought for the reason: D but must say that I still regret the purchase at any time. I have a lot more options than with a normal fryer and is really fun, and tastes delicious!
