The most severe combination that I have mounted on this tripod was an Olympus E-PM1 with the Olympus 14-150mm. Total weight of the technical specifications, about 750g, which is below the carrying capacity of this stand. I was able to detect any problems. The ball joint works fine, but if you have chosen the design and would like to state the joint, "bags" are still a few millimeters. But it can get used to. Otherwise, it affects a high quality finish, nothing squeaks or creaks, and it can easily wrap such as a bridge railing. The spirit level is in itself a nice thing, but unfortunately the can not see when the camera draufsitzt because the screw is too far tightened. Maybe that also lies on me and you can change the still.
In summary, the Gorillapod is a great tripod for photo beginners and advanced photographers with a camera system. Professionals have here certainly other claims, as well as use undoubtedly quite different cameras.
