Have I bought the Netgear to connect a Sony Bravia LCD TV (KDL40W5500) and a Sony BluRay player (BDPS370) with a Fritz box 3270. On the one hand to the overpriced Sony WLAN stick to save and the other part is also more versatile. The reviews were so predominantly effusive, so I'm gone cheerfully to work. Unpacked adapter connected (the version with the USB power supply has the advantage that the adapter off again, so he saves himself power and also does not block power-saving function of the Fritz box). Fritzbox WPS configured and confidently down the right knobs on box and adapter for connection. Half an hour and several reboot operations of Fritzbox, TV and adapter later, it still was no connection and I got the part of frustrated directly to the LAN cable attached to the notebook. SSID and WPA2 passphrase is entered correctly, connect low (actually zero), high frustration. Somewhere's rang, some little problems recur in life indeed. Did then times in the Fritz box taken out the special characters from the wireless password and lo and behold, everything popped fantastically perfect. Is really a great part, by all devices (including existing PCs) to get easily into the WLAN and then to the Internet, the connection is also excellent. However, it bothers me tremendously when I have to shut down the security level of my password just because a bitchy wireless adapter. Is also the reason why I disconnect the two stars. Certainly not to be trifled. For all that secure their wireless router with "Joshua", but that should not be an obstacle.
===> Update: According to comments well resolved with the latest firmware. I myself have not tested it, but sounds plausible
