Hello There, I had tried my luck previously with a Samsung 22-inch the same price range. This had a TN panel and I was absolutely satisfied with the image of Samsung. It was gray and colorless and stabbed in the eyes, in spite of many set-up attempts. So returned and ordered these LG. This was a very good decision. At first I was a bit disappointed because the LG not really looked good, especially because of the somewhat strange stand ... well ... the design must be just like. Although I must say that I have become accustomed drann and LG still find pretty. Anyway, I was immediately impressed when I connected the monitor to the PC. Super contrasts, good black value, very very large viewing angle dependency (really impressive how far you can move in no matter what direction the head and the image remains the same beautiful - at least in comparison with TN panels). Then I did a bit with the settings on the monitor experimentiert.Noch taken some brightness and mode "text" set (really recommended). Now the image is much stronger colors But what is misbehaving Me Einstellerei: the "buttons" so chic they look, well, are just touch-sensitive fields on the frame. This misses you, especially due to lack of lighting, quite happy times. And a further point of criticism: no speaker installed, only a headphone jack. For movies I can see no streaks. Only in computer games a slight blurring is sometimes visible. However, the monitor is suitable for gaming in my opinion definitely, because it is limited and no input lag is noticeable. The slight blurring is but just simply a drawback of the IPS panels and none of the monitor itself. The plus in better image quality, color intensity and angle independence makes it but completely compensated. Especially movies and photos make this monitor a lot of fun.
Despite the few criticisms (no speakers, no backlit keys and at least get used to design), I give full 5 points. Because to get for this price range a 23 inch Full HD monitor with IPS panel, is really great and I would buy it again and again.
