The battery lasts quite long, only after one month we had it once recharging.
We operate the touchpad on a Windows 7 64 bit PC. Installation was smooth and easy. It lies a program to configure, but actually you have to adjust anything. Connecting turn, works. When you first use you should connect the USB cable to the computer, so that the battery can fully charge first.
If you want to do simple things mostly the mouse, so select items and select by double, it goes very well with the touchpad. For more complicated things like drag-and-drop (dragging) or right-click then I suppose but would prefer the mouse. But is certainly a question of personal taste and the habit or practice. You can resort to the input device with which you are more familiar because you touchpad and mouse connect in parallel as required.
