The High Peak 180 Frazer has done outstanding work in two weeks outdoor camping in the fall so far. Since this is my first camping mat, I can evaluate the insulation effect under certain conditions, I'd appreciate it very well. Never my back was cold - when I was cold, it always came from above. For optimum insulating effect and comfort I always give a good lung before closing it - then the mat is taut and stable. Because of the surface finish is not slipping around with the sleeping bag, neither the mat moves unintentionally on the inner tent. The included case I do not use - it is not waterproof and therefore offers me no additional benefit, since I already then transported in Ortlieb Rack Pack.
I am very pleased - the sleeping pad is convenient, high, practical and well insulated.
