Compared to ThruNite TN12 with Cree XM-L2 U2 LED for 40:
Subjectively, the T6 is at least as bright, maybe a little lighter than the ThruNite. This in turn is much brighter at longer distances because of the T6 Zoom swallows plenty of light for distance setting. For illuminating surfaces, spaces etc. the T6 is ideal. Processing TN12 affects quality, but it does not cost too sevenfold.
The T6 seems durable and high-quality as expected for the price. The lens is made of plastic, inside are residues of processing, but overall the lamps are just great, because I have not counted on the optical and mechanical precision of a Leitz electron microscope. A lamp that you can give very good, also because of the AAA batteries, otherwise you would have to pay to batteries and charger. A strong buy recommendation, I'll still buy some to me, 2 in the car, one in a bedroom in the basement, etc.,
Supplement to current consumption:
With Li-ion battery to flow at 4 V voltage of the batteries 3.4 A, which corresponds to 13.6 watts incredible line
With 3 AAA batteries 1.6 A at 4.5 volts, which corresponds to 7.2 watts of power, or about half
The ThruNite TN12 compared brings it with Li-Ion battery at 4 V to 1.6 A, which corresponds to only 6.4 watts of power, confirming the subjective impression of the higher brightness of T6
Meanwhile, 10 lamps were once delivered, all make a high quality impression, I'll give a few, then with AAA batteries.
