The device works thanks to a simple USB port easily. The included USB cable I have extended with the help of an active USB 2.0 extension cable to over 5 meters. So I have enough room to move in my home studio.
That means adjusting the level of the colored LED and the rotary wheel I find simple and good. The processing of the metal housing is great. Also, the grid is actually made of metal. The mic is surprisingly heavy for its small size, thereby making a stable, quality overall impression.
Also, the connection with the supplied cable Lightning on iPhone and iPad I have tried. Here the audio recordings are also very good. However, "only" with 48 kHz. That is sufficient in most cases. Often we read that the difference between 96 kHz and 48 kHz only by professionals heard was ... I do not like to go a compromise and have therefore bought the 96k version. It really is more accessories here ...
I use the mic in conjunction with a Samson PS01 "pop filter" of unwanted sounds filter out. I enjoyed it very often in use, because I thus set to music all of my YouTube videos.
Who wants to experience or hear the Mic "in action", can indeed times drop by in my YouTube channel. All my videos from 2015 were taken with it. You can find my channel by clicking the "Maxico manuals and tutorials" on YouTube typing the name in the search.
