For a few days I now have the Krups XL 2000 with the task, the first impression is sensational. The price I have already forgotten and checked. Quality costs just and right here you absolutely. Previously, I had the Serverin SM9684 milk frother (60, - Euro also not cheap) and am of the technical qualities rather disappointed. The Krups XL 2000 plays there in an entirely different league and I look forward now already in the morning in bed on my first cappuccino ... Overall, the unit makes a very high-quality impression. The combination of aluminum and brushed stainless steel not only looks classy but is also very easy to clean. The solution with retractable power cable in the base and into the cup integrated control unit is awesome. This device is very compact and quiet in operation. So far show my previous experience with the part, it does exactly what you'd expect. The foam Mich whether macchiato cappuccino, espresso or latte macchiato is perfect! Better in any case, than anything I've tried and can easily keep up with me in a foam espresso. Consistency, temperature, relative to milk foam that fits easily. Something I need to get rid of yet, because I have now read a lot of reviews for the milk frother. There are obviously many who are disappointed because their lactose-free, micro-filtered, fermented and / or otherwise fortified milk yields no useful Mich foam and push the device. Likewise, I could complain that I can build with loose Styrofoam balls no snowman, although superficially even look like snow ... The cleaning of the coated milk container is also not a problem. Something Filling with water with detergent, turn on, wait until the program is finished, rinse with clear water, dry, finished. The plastic frother sits on an axis at the bottom of the container and can be removed for cleaning. The small "propeller" is simply clipped. My feeling I see here the only weak point. Future experience will have to show how often the removal and placement of the foamer works. For a company like Krups I have over my supply of spare parts make hopefully not worry, because without this little part - no milk foam.
This milk frother I recommend to all, who refuse to compromise and do not want to annoy daily for a device that is indeed cheaper, but also of poor quality.
