Visually "bothered" me something the red stripe around the screen. Not a big drawback for me, but I like a completely black frame simply more. Unpacked and connected the red stripe is with me rather at a closer look at visible but that does not bother me absolutely - on the contrary even.
Contrary to the comment under another review buzzing my power supply is not as soon as the brightness is adjusted (
Delivered the monitor in the Samsung typical packaging. Everything is neatly packed away in a real flat carton. This is possible because the LED monitor from Samsung is a good deal thinner than any LCD monitors before. With nearly 5 kilos of the monitor is also a true lightweight. Stand and frames as well as my old monitor in black piano lacquer, which decorate the monitor gives a very classy look.
The only "negative" point is the huge base of leaves fluctuate nevertheless the monitor. Pushes you get the monitor, he wobbles quite violently. It should therefore certainly stand on a desk. For me, this will not be a problem, since I have no children or other "risks". The monitor is mounted on the wall soon anyway. I think that's really negative to the stand not, but maybe for some buyers but of some value.
I give the monitor repays 5 stars. Visually and technically, I would say the best thing you could ask for!
// Update:
I changed from the nVidia GeForce GT440 on the ATI Radeon HD 6870 PowerColor. In the card from ATI, I had this black borders that are reported more frequently. Catalyst Control Center open -> my digital flat panel displays -> Scaling Options -> there on overscan (0%) and you get full-screen!
Have Fun!
