Having originally a BenQ Monitor (also 144Hz) have tested, but was not very happy, I have the Asus VG248QE ordered and both priced, as well as experienced an improvement in quality. The colors are fairly equal, the technology behind it is finally (almost) the same (TN panel). Still, I found it easier to come to acceptable colors a not out burning eyes when draufschaut 10 minutes.
The response time and 144Hz are definitely the Hammer, who has not tried, missed definitely was! Can only be recommended. Drag the definitely the 60Hz panels before.
My settings if you need someone:
Mode: Standard
Brightness: 5
Contrast: 80
Color Temp .: User Mode
R: 96
G: 94
B: 88
Trace Free: 60 (alternatively 80 to avoid ghosting in too much, I would more)
The settings are not was my idea, but the source I have not, but anyway always subjective and therefore everyone must try for what he likes best :)
Pros and cons summarized:
Pro:
+ 144Hz is amazing!
+ Relatively quick to add get good color settings
+ 1ms response time
+ 3D ready (I hope that's what, did not yet have a NVidia graphics card / Vision kit, but that still follows!)
+ Super Preisleistungsverhätlnis
Cons:
- ... Nothing really, except:
(- TN panel, but you knew that beforehand, that do not come on the color quality of high-quality IPS panels!)
In my opinion, a great part! (Is also used for gaming as for watching movies / Office / programming, for professional graphic designers would be an IPS panel probably the better choice !!)
