After 15 years of Polar I decided for Timex. This I have now tested more than two months in training and competition. The Timex Global Trainer is tailored for triathletes! It is very easy to use and has a large display and large buttons that are easy to use. You can adjust for the displays individually. There is a display swim, run and cycle. In addition there are two displays that you can nominate yourself. There is also a multi-sport mode, where you can combine sports nacheiander and can change from sport to sport. The changing times are displayed and can be acknowledged by pressing a button and jumps to the next sport (swimming - wheel - drive). The satellite reception is very good for me, since I have loaded me the new firmware on the clock. Takes about 15-30 sec. The Software Training Peaks is online, ie even if the computer the data are sometimes crashes always present. The Free version is not as lavish as the Polar software, but man can analyze and store your training well. The full version costs $ 119 (85 euros). Offers a lot of features but at the time I come from without. For accuracy of the clock: half marathon run: Clock shows 21.101 kilometers on, Practice Round departed (with forest) 6620m with measuring wheel, clock shows at 6610m. Difference there is from the bike computer to the clock. At 50 km there is a difference of about 900m. The clock is large, but looks cool, unlike the Garmin 310XT (probably a matter of taste). Perfect toy for Tritahleten without additional modules possible. Very competitive level and can be set individually One can also measure on Ant + cadence and the wattage.
