Because a Samsung TV is already at home was soon clear that Samsung will make the grade. Due to the vacuum tube, the design, the equipment and the still quite moderate price, I decided for this investment. Previously, I had the Samsung HT-F5500 looked at in a shop and was disappointed as cheap-frumpy but the speakers look in Natura. Absolute no-go!
But just to plant:
The sound is really neat for this price range, in my opinion, if one takes some time after positioning the speaker system sound technically to adjust the settings slightly. On screen there nothing to complain about. BD Wise works great and thanks to HDMI ARC could even cable connections can be saved. The only downside is in this regard that the volume of the connected cable receiver has to be quite high, because otherwise some stations (mostly non-HD) are reproduced in a very low and barely audible. These are then in principle a bit quieter than the HD channels.
ADDENDUM: With another, better HDMI cable is the problem with the quieter TV Prg. solved. Even with optical connection between receiver and home theater system comes with me the problem no longer occurs.
The apps work great, but I already knew from the Samsung TV. As for the running noise of the DVD player I have to give my speakers right. In silent movies of the DVD player is clearly audible which may be possibly disturbing. The radio function could have been designed a bit more user-friendly, in fact, but since I use a Squeezebox on the system does not bother me really.
Now to my real gripe was already criticized by Enrico in his review. Really annoying, I find the problem that there are simply no available wall bracket for these boxes. Samsung lets its customers in this regard in the rain, while the manufacturers would have simply must use some common sense, which he has made clear in many of his other home theater systems then why not here? What is so beautiful in the user manual to set up the surround speakers: Place the speakers, facing slightly from 60 to 90 cm above your head down. Thanks for the tip, especially for the slightly downward. In the email inquiry answered Samsung, one should nevertheless make a hole in the wall and fasten the box with a long screw to the wall. Prima, except that the notch on the back of the box offers little grip and it's all a rather wobbly affair! Clear point deduction in the price category.
Well, I'll probably have to come up with something else. Who placed the boxes only on any furniture or shelves or be content with the wobbly suspension to disturb the little.
Who wants to have the ultimate simply must spend more money, so I'm up on the speaker suspension problem with the system really more than satisfied. Way better than what I had previously Philips.

Currently - as u already described by others here A. other Samsung home entertainment devices - The following error occurred.:
Device turns off immediately after another, ie the tubes lighting goes up again, and eg in radio mode the radio is audible again only the display remains off! The error was corrected after I had briefly separated the device for several minutes from the current (unplugged), but now it does not help more. Resetting the unit did not help either. I mean that this could possibly be related to an update that my knowledge is run just before the error occurred. The support chat I also can not help you for inspection and advised to send in - at least Samsung has a 24 month warranty.
After the unit had switched off automatically after a few minutes on AUX (no audio signal input) (probably an internal setting, I suspect) no longer occurs the fault current on again, ie the unit returns from normal. Since the error but now already occurred for the second time, and this triggers repeatedly in other ways there are of me star deduction. In addition, so wanes trust what the product, and also what Samsung terms! I wait quasi formally until the error - or any other error - (back / again) occurs.
