I am fully satisfied with the quality and reliability of the battery. The battery maintains its full charge itself for months, and is therefore always ready when you need it. I could still find no self-discharge. Charge the battery, place it in the camera bag, and no longer need to remember: that works with this Nikon battery very good. Since Nikon seems well to have the right technique under control.
My previous camera was also from Nikon (D90). Whose two Nikon batteries are now 6 years old and still behave as good as on the first day.
I have more devices with Li-ion batteries in use of other well-known camera manufacturers. Unfortunately I have with their batteries made significantly worse experience, especially in terms of self-discharge.
