I've installed quite easily and can install on Win XP SP2 The Skystar card. Only when the remote control I have myself done something wrong, but would need to read the manual. Here the EPG (Electronic Program Guide) comes via the satellite and costs nothing extra now. The PC with this card is so to operate without problems without Internet. The software is in Win-XP theme and it's fun to work with. From the EPG you can program a jump to PVR (Personal Video Recorder) email program, so you need not enter a time for programming. Genial I also find the EPG timeline, since the current and future programs are displayed as in a project planning with a time indicator. If you click a block to, it is marked red and the EPG data to the clicked program will be displayed. Well I also like the remote control. The infrared receiver is placed on the back on the RS-232 connection and responds to the light reflected from the wall behind the PC IR rays. So no additional cable that has to be embarrassed for PC front. With the remote control you can adjust volume, switch the program, start recording, etc. In addition, you can relatively easily change the key assignment software. The only thing I have not done, is to use the standby mode to turn the PC into a true video recorder. But at least I can click on the Technisat software that the PC will shut down after receiving a shipment.
