As a so-called Planespotter (aircraft Photography) I attach great importance to the motion picture. Here, the background should be blurred, while the aircraft must be displayed very sharp in the foreground. And since the Image Stabilizer doing an excellent job (see photos customer photos).
The details are still very well recognizable even when turned up full 300mm.
Getting used for Canon Tele-users is perhaps the focus ring which is located directly at the camera while looking at the distance further need to adjust the front. If you come to the focus ring and moves it a bit, sets the autofocus inoperative. Also, the zoom ring rotates opposed by Canon telephoto lenses. But as I got used to it within a few days. Was just only 'ne change because I was previously accustomed Canon telephoto lenses.
I had three Canon telephoto lenses. For one thing, very cheap 75-300 and on the other hand, the Canon Ultrasonic with IS and USM originally to 800, - Euro. Both never delivered these great results, as the Tamron.
And frankly, no one has to wonder, if you buy the cheap stuff from China, if, despite the very low price still provides a better quality as the expensive brand stuff, which is ultimately yes produced even in Asia.
I am extremely pleased! =)
