Wanted I had a backpack / Slingbag with side access for both sides (R / L) and with little storage space for jacket and a little food for the day.
An equipment that had to stow the following:
- Olympus E-620
- FL-36 flash system
- Lens 14-54mm + Geli
- Lens 70-300mm + Geli
- Tripod + odds and ends
My previous candidates, I ordered and felt for my purposes to be inappropriate:
- Tamrac Evolution 8 Sling Backpack
- Lowepro Fastpack 250 AW DSLR Video
Both were too heavy for me ultimately and the respective photo tray EHR designed with an additional battery grip for larger DSLR's. My Olympus E-620 (without battery pack) lost in there and found m. E. does not provide sufficient support.
This is not the case with Versapack 200 AW. The backpack is light (about 1kg) and offers enough for my equipment space, and adequate support.
The backpack has sided lateral access to the photographic equipment similar to a sling bag, which you can act quickly and simply. His tripod can be transported either in the special tripod holder or attach under the backpack, but where you can also good transport irish a rolled raincoat. A rain cover protects you if necessary against moisture. There are many small useful pockets for cell phone, batteries, memory cards and the like, as well as an easily accessible slot for maps or guide books.
The processing makes a very good impression and the functionality is just great.
The only drawback:
The zipper on the side access to the photo tray could be shared again in order to obtain an even better access to both sides. So you have to unfortunately pull the zipper getting from one to the other side through. But I can live with, so still full marks.
Strong buy recommendation from my side!
