Have the headphones now in the third or fourth generation. After about 5 years usually breaks anything mechanically, most recently the plastic membrane (the part of the infected in the ear canal) is broken. The sound is great for all music stems (the comparison with a 500, - headphones lags sure) from classical to electronic tunes with heavy bass. The grip just when jogging is great, even at fast pace units.
Would (and will) buy me the headphones again and again!
