The 1-2 star reviews irritate me somewhat. A friend had shown me before the TZ31, but has no viewfinder. With viewfinder can be eg films in HD quality in the theater or take pictures without the other visitor to annoy. Focus and exposure are 1A, even the sound is better than expected. The handling of the main functions is easy. I bought the camera before the holiday, because I did not feel like my Nikon D5100 (with admittedly weak kit lens 18-105) to tow. Now I'm so far as the Nikon to sell, because the results with the Lumix TZ61 is very good .. I've looked at the images on a 37 "HD TV. Particularly impressive were the 30x zoom (Leica) and image stabilization for me. Only criticism: Storing the photos takes a little long, in spite of SD Card Class10. Forget the whiners who whine eg because of noise from ISO 200, ... or write such a nonsense: --- "... Those who want to have good pictures should the Canon S120 or take the old model S110. So much better, of course, only 5 times zoom .... ... they've returned and the Canon G1x brought mark2 ..... " - About Canon S120, S110, I can only smile tired and Canon G1X is really too good or maybe even better photos, but first they are much more expensive and secondly, larger and heavier. The Canon G15 I could test comparison. In some situations, may be better, but I do not want anyway replace, if only because of the 30x zoom and the size. I wait now only that someone assigns a star, writes that the camera is crap, and instead returned a Hasselblad is purchased.
