The tripod can be set up totally easy and it is also no description needed. Because it's totally easy (aluminum), it is also easy to carry with the supplied carrying case. My sister is a hobby photographer and she was thrilled with the tripod. A star deduction is only available for the not quite jewels tilt / swivel function, which would be relevant really only for movies, which does not make my sister so. All in all we are very happy with the product
