This small, no bigger than a card game charger can charge whatever USB branch faster than a basic charger.
It's seems logical, the limited size of such phone chargers do not necessarily used to load as fast due to the small size of the components, no worries here, power is perfectly sized to charge multiple devices quickly.
Most:
+ Power: 60W, 12A thus dispatched about 7 USB ports (on the basis of 5V for USB), it is more than necessary. But who can do more can do less, so it's perfect
+ Dimension: Compact, ready just the size of a deck of cards, with a detachable power cable of 1.5m ample, it remains discreet and fits very well next to my couch. I see the product description says "extremely compact size - Easily fits in your pocket", it is small, yes, but not exaggerate, nobody likes having a 3cm thick frame in the pocket, however in a bag, it poses no worries.
+ 7 USB ports: that's enough to use that I do, however, I have never tried plugging 7 devices to charge simultaneously (max 5 so far).
Apparently each USB port is protected independently of the others for overvoltage, short circuit and all charges fluctuations Bolse OK, I believe you, even if he can protect me from evil spells, I say congratulations!
+ Finish: Plastic materials are of good quality, Bolse even told that the case is resistant to fire and high temperatures (very good for security but good, then to have a major incident or if you wanted to put it in the microwave -onde, I think we have enough room)
Cons:
- The small yellow LED indicates that the charger is powered is on constantly, it is not especially disturbing but it would be an area for improvement, it would be that it only lights up when plugged in or device and / and add an ON / OFF button is set behind a separate LED for each additional USB and to show that the charger is powered.
- Connecting the USB side, this is a personal opinion but the USB side of the connection is not what I prefer, I'm lazy I would prefer not having to hold the magazine in one hand and the cable into the other. A branch above or even on an inclined face would be better I think.
- Otherwise, really no downside for now
Remarks:
# SmartIC: Bolse told us basically that's a load control chip, to recognize the connected device and stop charging the device in question once the full load independently of other devices supported. So then frankly, I do not know at all if this is really the case, I have no way of checking. The only thing I can see is that the charge icon on the iPhone (the little eclair) remains displayed even 100%. But that does not mean anything given that the iPhone consumes even locked ... Again, the LEDs on each USB port would help us see more clearly the course load.
My conclusion: I highly recommend this to any USB power charging in one place! Although Bolse strongly advice to use the original cables of the devices (MFI certified), I still advise to use cables with the same ligthning Bolse brand for charging Apple devices, they are interesting level value / prices and are solid!
The Bolse team, I know you can do better, there is always something we can improve, and I'm interested in your next version of USB power
