Super value for money 18

I bought the Mi band according to a report in Cashys blog ([...]). Previously, I did not know the product.
Initially decisive was (next to the test at Cashy) the price. I wanted to invest no 50-150, to see if I have fun on such a gadget.

The first impression when you unpack: very valuable! "Chic" packaging, pleasant materials of the tracker and the bracelet. I never expected this for the price paid.

Second impression: the arm band. I have not necessarily the wrists of a miner. but the Mi band carries on not too much and is comfortable to wear.

After a good three weeks of continuous use, I can say: Wow! The price / performance ratio is great, I can tracken my "motion progress", and Sleep Testing also has a certain charm - especially in connection with the so-called "intelligent wake-up". The tape can - if you like me reacts to this - wake by vibration. The intelligent awakening is a function that the user also (up to 30 min.) Before alarm awakens, if he is not in a deep sleep. At least for me it works with in the usual way with the vibration.
The first battery also keeps the way still: After 25 days 42% charge ... As many other product can learn a lot from.
The smartphone battery is not overly burdened by my feelings. I had the Mi band initially with a Nexus 4 in use and since about 1 weeks with a Motorola G (2014). Both have held about 10% longer without charging no tailed Mi band. IMHO justifiable.

The Mi band will not need its permanent connection to the smartphone. There may be a certain amount of time to save the data. How long it caches I have not yet figured out. For me, this is less relevant, because I guess a function particularly on Sat band. This is the auto-unlock feature in conjunction with Android. 5
Very handy for the office, for example. Leaving the phone in the workplace, and is in the building on the way, the phone is locked and no one comes to the data. If you close, to unlock the phone and it saves entering a PIN (not SIM PIN !!!) or the unlock pattern.

But you should be aware that there are also some pitfalls.
So is the org. App more for China fans, you should download a Germanized version of the Community and manually install (there are at decuro.de). Logging on Mi is maybe not everyone's thing, because you have to sign in China at Mi. But when the Communist Party of China interested in how much I move during the day or as I fall asleep, it should not matter to me. Google has IMHO much more knowledgeable about my interests, Amazon is likely based on my purchases and Search know me pretty well ;-)
Another shortcoming in my purchase: The delivery time. I have chosen an offer with delivery from Germany, which was still very low. The delivery took yet over a week and had a customs stamp ... From my side full recommendation if you want to retest such a gadget times and the cost fears. Despite the price the device has however some features that offer some expensive equipment not or not so good after my research on the internet: the sleep tracking, intelligent wake-up and (the net often mentioned) good motion detection.

Conclusion: Kaufemfehlung!
