Use the part with my LG 32LV470S. Since my TV does not have RCA output and I wanted to stream my music from my NAS on the TV to my powered speakers via DLNA, I needed a DA converter. A 5V USB power adapter is included, but I do not need. I can use the USB port on the TV, in order to supply the DAC with electricity. For this, however, you need a USB cable not supplied (eg USB adapter 0,20m A jack> 5 pol. Mini B connector for 1.50 Euro). There is no noise when no music is playing (of course, not even if it runs ;-)), so as with other cheap DACS. The device is made of metal, so no cheap plastic, the terminals are gold-plated, the sound is transmitted properly. Of course you can not compare my VDACII of Musical Fidelity, but for the purpose of the little thing is really awesome. Strong buy recommendation.
