it works with all types of HDD, I was able to retrieve and test a whole lot of old hdd as recent all with different connectors and hardware ensures :-) the same for the disc drives, a true happiness recycling old computer gear, Congratulations to the designer of this product, he just made -D fan and I will redeem for far too useful here.
