Napoleon: THE GREAT is very approachable and well documented. I found the addition of Napoleon's letters Provides additional insight in how Napoleon thought or how he wanted to be thought of. Those Who are only interested in Napoleon's military career will not find much new information, goal if you are looking for a good, comprehensive single-volume biography, this is the book to read.
